This is a podcast about intersection of video games and the Catholic faith. While we are not professional philosophers, theologians, or game designers, we do love to discuss these topics. The aim of the podcast is to invite both gamers and non-gamers alike to the dialog of faith and entertainment.
We seek to have these dialogs through different structured conversations. These conversations are categorized into reviews, both with newer games and retrospectives, and in in-depth discussions on aspects such as game design, themes, genres, and so on, all with a Catholic world view.

James ropes Scott to join in with Conner and Joe to discuss Terraria. Being that James had only 44 minuets of playtime in the game, he asked some of the local experts about the game. The discussion that follows goes all sorts of different ways, but that's pretty usual for this podcast now.

A2 - Adolescents and Adults
Some gore in the game (which can be turned off in the menu) and some unnerving looking enemies, namely the Wall of Meat and the flying eyeballs.

Thank you to Catching Foxes for this idea. James and Conner discuss 4 different topics that circulate within the gaming sphere. They are provided 5 minuets each to discuss their take before the other speaks. And yes, ChatGPT was used to create these list of topics and provide a jumping off question to start the discussion.
The topics are as follows:
The Rise of Streaming Platforms (Twitch, YouTube Gaming, etc.): How has gaming streaming impacted the gaming community and the industry as a whole?
The Role of Video Games in Socializing: How has online multiplayer gaming changed the way we socialize and build communities?
The Future of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) Gaming: What are the potential of VR and AR in gaming? Are they the future, or are they niche trends?
The Impact of Loot Boxes and RNG (Random Number Generation): Do loot boxes and randomized rewards add excitement or harm the integrity of games?

James and Conner discuss growing up with sports and sports games ... and why they don't play them anymore. Sorry sports fans. Other topics discussed are old favorite YouTube videos, church architecture, and James's recent skin problem, and quotes from Brian Regan, like the episode title.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
Andrew, Joe, Conner and James all get together to talk about the all important Pokemon series. Specifically Pokemon Red, Green, Red, Blue, and Yellow. Its a wacky episode, Joe is hosting, Conner makes a Linux reference, and a good 6 minuets of the recording decided to go missing. Strap in for the conversation.
